Get more out of your camera!

Many people absolutely love taking photographs. Some go and buy a fancy new digital camera with lots of buttons on it and a nice big lens. It looks great and they look like a real pro! But the truth is they don’t really know what they are doing and just stick it on the "auto" setting and hope for the best. Does that sound familiar to you?
Well not to worry, I won’t tell anyone if you don’t. But I would like to help you if I can.
I like to teach people the basics of camera operations so they can get off auto and onto manual which is the secret behind taking fantastic photos that will make your friends go "oooh, that’s good, who took that?"

At the moment I run a camera course and a beginners guide to digital editing:

How to take fantastic photographs with your own camera
Three 2 hour sessions covering camera operations and how to use aperture, shutter speed, iso and white balance. There is time to learn the theory and then time to practise shooting together, where students can ask me questions and I can look over their images and suggest how to improve. I cover 3 different types of photography to help the students learn how to use the camera’s features to accomplish that style. You really do not need to know anything about photography, all you need is your camera. (Please note compact cameras are not suitable for this course)

Beginners guide to digital editing
Using basic editing software we will show you how to get more out of the fantastic photos you have taken. Would you like to know how to remove red eye, how to change your images to punchy black and white and how to get rid of the spots and bags under the eyes? Then this course will really benefit you. All you need is a laptop or computer and Photoshop Elements.
