This privacy policy sets out how Rachel Sinclair Photography uses and protects any information that you give Rachel Sinclair Photography when you use this website.

Rachel Sinclair Photography is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Rachel Sinclair Photography may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 22/02/2012.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

• name
• contact information including email and postal addresses
• other information relevant to our photography services

We do not store credit card details.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping
• We may use the information to improve our products and services.
• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Controlling your personal information

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Delivery Policy

All orders under £150 will be charged at a fixed rate of  £3.50, and will be sent by Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery. Orders over £150 will not be charged for delivery and will also be sent by Royal Mail 1st class delivery.

Delivery is subject to Royal Mail’s standards and anyone opting for this service does so at their own risk.

Delivery dates can not be guaranteed but we will do our best to deliver your items to you as soon as possible. We will contact you if there are any problems with the service you have selected.

Collection
Orders may be collected from the gallery by appointment only. We will call you when your order is ready to arrange a suitable time for collection. Orders collected from the gallery will not incur a delivery charge.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Our photographs, frames and other physical products are produced to order for each client. For this reason we cannot accept order cancellations once production has started, or any returns once delivery has been made.

In the unlikely event that the product(s) you receive from us are defective, we will replace them at our cost.

Bookings fees are also non-refundable. If you need to change your session date, please contact us and we will be happy to reschedule on up to 2 occasions at no additional cost. If the date is changed on more than 2 occasions, we may request a further booking fee to cover our costs. Session changes made due to inclement weather do not count as cancellations.
